This is my solo album, which appeared in March 2004. The music on the album is a modern instrumental fusion. I have invited leading Polish jazz-rock musicians. As the title suggests its a type of CV. One of my ideas is to send my album to America and to Western Europe. Thanks to this idea I'm hoping to find a job in one of these countries. All I want to do is to play with fantastic musicians and to make money and support my family by playing music, which is very complicated and difficult in my country.
With great pleasure I would like to introduce you to a great new band which consists of the best Polish sidemen Squad. This band plays fusion music and it's the only type of band that plays that type of music in Poland. In a very short period of time this band has become a legend.

Currently it has recorded a studio album. Look below also a concert album which will appear in June. In many Polish music magazines our band inspires great interest.

Photos from studio.

Squad played a concert on a jazz festival in Germany. It was an imense success due to which we have been invited to play again next year. It was great to play on the stage where before us played famous people like Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl, Yellowjackets, Steps Ahead, Roben Ford... The boss of the club made an incredible impression on us when he told us that he hadn't heard such a great concert for a long time.

Photos from a tour of the Squad band.

The last tour of this group was filled with a great atmosphere, the clubs were full and the crowds reacted lively to our music. After the concert there was a jam session. Later at four o'clock in the morning I began to pretend to be Lord Vader. The audience cried with laughter. I have seen Star Wars many times, so I can imitate many sketches from the film. Here is a photo from this little improvisation. Haaa ha ha.

Press Clips.

...Marek the leader of the band, has always taken part very willingly in many club projects with outstanding Polish top musicians being ready to play in very different musical styles, from blues through rock'n'roll to even jazz music. He is eagerly invited to jam sessions as a "music lecturer". Since spring, 2003, he has been preparing new material for his 2nd own album. At the same time Marek formed a band SQUAD, formerly a trio playing a dynamic variety of fusion & jazz-rock music. The repertoire of the band is mainly based on the solo albums of the individual musicians. A series of promotional concerts given by the group showed that the music they play is needed by the public. Olszak's joining the band has given rise to widening the wide spectrum of the music SQUAD performances. The band is going to release a "LIVE" album soon.
Some time ago I came up with an idea in my country. It's a new idea to conduct lessons on tour. I have been a teacher for twelve years. The new concept is to teach drummers while on tour in Poland, this enables me to teach them while I'm on a tour, this has been received very positively by all the students.

My close friends from Lauda Audio have invited me to a presentation of microphones by AKG. This was a very successful event and has been described in an international catalogue of AKG.
www.lauda-audio.pl.

My father and I have been invited to an electronic festival in Pisz, which will take place at the beginning of August 2004. It's a great opportunity for my father to return to playing. For over ten years he hasn't been involved in music because of my mother's illness. The legendary Kombi band which he was the leader of, unfortunately reactivated without him.

Regal Tip has made a little surprise they have written my name in the magazine entitled Modern Drummer.

I'd like to record a new video school. I have many new ideas, I know there is a need for this type of school. However I lack concrete proposals from sponsors and from publishers. In Poland we have a recession, music companies do not have money. We lack sponsors. My old school on video has been a great success. Many home drummers prefer this tape to the ones from other countries. That's why I'm thinking about recording a new video school in English. It would enable me to show my qualifications to the whole world. If you have any ideas your welcome to cooperation. If you'r seriously interested I'm willing to send you a copy of my original school in Polish.
My second daughter Veronica was born on the first of October 2003.

Attention all New Bands! I'm willing to record drum tracts for records. I can appear at any part of the world. I'm waiting and I hope we can cooperate.
Lately I have met Dom Famularo. He has told me many stories about Jeff Porcaro. I was thrilled, I have always wanted to meet Jeff.
